The 2016 Film "Blair Witch" Trailer Will Make Me Hate the Woods at Night Even More

Let me just bask in the beauty that is this sudden resurgence of a true classic birthing the age of the found footage horror film (albeit milked way too much by some lackluster editions out there, not counting the first iconic "Paranormal Activity," of course). Yes, it's true: there is a true sequel to "The Blair Witch Project," entitled "Blair Witch," and just by the trailer, it looks friggin' wicked as Hell. Check it out below:

When a trailer makes you sit still even after watching the damn thing for at least five seconds.... At least.... You know you just might have a major nail-biter. And this was what made the original "The Blair Witch Project" an icon in the true raw induction of fear process. No strings. No crazy CGI. Just delving into the minds of people going mad in the woods and experiencing something.... That we can't quite place.

What makes it work is the fact that it's already based on urban legend. A small piece of truth that may be true or not. And, of course, it plays on the original storyline, making it a true sequel (not like that clunky "Book of Shadows" film).

I'm looking forward to this bad boy. Let's bring back a true form to found footage, shall we?

Potentially very good. See below. It turns out that the announcement is official according to the Carrie Bradshaw of the Sanderson bunch (Sarah Jessica Parker): there will be a "Hocus Pocus" sequel, premiering on Disney+.
