Seriously, when have you ever heard of a HORROR FILM even getting nominated for "Best Screenplay"? This genre's notorious for being, well, cheesy. You suspend disbelief with these stories more than in any other genre.... And, yet, this happened:


And That's Not All: Jordan Peele's Obviously Breaking Down Barriers....


Like being the first black writer to win that award outright. 'Nuff said. Never mind that he also directed the damn movie....

Horror movies are cleaning house these days.
