How A QUIET PLACE By John Krasinski Might Continue the GET OUT Horror Movement Like a Beast

A beast that will hunt you if you make just one sound.... Clever concept. So basic, like an all-natural opiate of horror. And that's what we get with someone like John Krasinski, someone typically known from the comedic television vehicle known as THE OFFICE, and here he is: director, writer, actor, of a film that could do exactly what GET OUT did.

A QUIET PLACE Just Might Terrify an Audience in Ways We Never Thought Possible

Seriously. You can't deny the numbers, in fact. The film has a 98% Rotten Tomatoes rating, and it hasn't even debuted, yet! (in theaters everywhere, April 6th, 2018) Buzz about it has hit GET OUT levels of achievement, and this may be a big one for Krasinski of Academy Award proportions. That obviously spells more news about the horror genre killing it and taking names of the excellent kind.

Check out the trailer(s) for yourself and see what you think:

I dig it, man. Silently, of course.

As you may already know, A QUIET PLACE debuts in silent theaters around the country on April 6th, 2018. Written, directed and starring John Krasinski, and his own real-life wife Emily Blunt.

Shhhhh.... Don't make a sound.
