If you missed the PC Gaming Show, you probably missed out on New Blood Interactive’s announcements. Not to worry, as the dev has kindly reminded fans of just what to expect in the coming months via a Twitter recap.
For starters, if by chance you haven’t checked out DUSK, you’ll be able to grab the retro-inspired shooter on the Nintendo Switch this Halloween! No word on when the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 will be getting the game, but at the very least, you’ll be able to take DUSK on the go this Fall.
And speaking of retro-inspired shooters, New Blood Interactive have another one in the works. Called ULTRAKILL, the game has its origins on itch.io, but is now headed to Steam Early Access later this Summer! ULTRAKILL is a fast-paced ultraviolent old school FPS that fuses together classic shooters like Quake, modern shooters like DOOM 2016 and character action games like Devil May Cry.
The story is simple: Mankind has gone extinct and the only beings left on earth are machines fueled by blood. But now that blood is starting to run out on the surface, machines are racing to the depths of Hell in search of more. Kill fast and with “SSStyle” to rack up combos and gain points that can be used on weapon variations between missions, while soaking in blood regains your health.
And if that’s not enough, we have a new stealth horror game, GLOOMWOOD! Coming SOON to Steam and inspired by classic stealth action game, Thief, GLOOMWOOD sees you trapped in a dark, Victorian city consumed by an ancient curse. You must plan your survival and daring escape using nothing but stealth, an arsenal of eccentric weapons, and your wits.
You’ll be arming yourself with weapons such as stealthy canesword, six-shot revolver, folding shotgun, hand-placed traps, rope-slinging harpoon rifle and more. Of course, you’ll have to master the art of stealth to survive. That includes leaning around corners to eavesdrop, peeking through door cracks, as well as picking up and throwing items to distract enemies.
