‘Relic’ Clip: Something is Rotting Behind the Wall [Video]

One of the most hyped films of this pandemic-fueled summer is IFC Midnight’s dramatic Australian horror Relic, which our very own Meagan Navarro called a bone-chilling and devastating depiction of dementia.”

In the Natalie Erika James-directed film, “When Edna (Robin Nevyn), the elderly and widowed matriarch of the family, goes missing, her daughter Kay (Emily Mortimer) and granddaughter Sam (Bella Heathcote) travel to their remote family home to find her. Soon after her return, they start to discover a sinister presence haunting the house and taking control of Edna.”

IFC has provided us with a brand new clip from the film in which the daughter hears something from behind the wall and realizes the wall is rotting.

It was announced last week that ahead of its July 10th theatrical and Digital/VOD date IFC will be bringing Relic to drive-in theaters only as an advance week-run beginning July 3rd. This means, with some precise planning, you can literally watch Relic under the stars…and fireworks this Fourth of July weekend!
