While we wait for the seventh installment in the Tremors franchise this Halloween season, a brand new short fan film released this week takes us back to Perfection, NV.
Tremors super fan Dillon Brown is the man behind the 7-minute short, which was made in just 24-hours on an iPhone as part of a solo filmmaking challenge during the pandemic. It brings the franchise into the realm of found footage, following a hiker trying to figure out the mystery of Perfection, Nevada and what really happened there over twenty years ago.
And yes, a Graboid does appear in the short fan film, brought to the screen with computer-generated imagery that’s honestly as good as some of the CGI in the actual sequels.
