Plot And New Trailer Released For ‘Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of The Forest’

Last month, it was revealed that developer Different Tales were in production of a game set in the Werewolf: The Apocalypse universe entitled Werewolf: The Apocalypse – Heart of the Forest. Not much information was revealed about the game until recently, when Different Tales took to Twitter to reveal more meat.

The devs not only revealed the plot of the game, but dropped a new trailer and a vague release date of Q4 2020. Heart of the Forest tells the story of Maia, who travels to Poland in hopes of finding out more about her family roots. Of course, she just so happens to encounter werewolves along the way.

The game aims to be a digital adaptation of the tabletop role-playing system, and as such, Maia has a character sheet listing different aspects of her personality, as well as stats for health, willpower and rage. The decisions you make in the game will affect these stats, which in turn will have influence on what kind of decisions you can make. The game aims to be accessible for both newcomers to the tabletop game, as well as veterans.

We can expect the game on PC via Steam and GOG.com.
