While rumours are still around that From Software and Sony will eventually give PC gamers Bloodborne (and more rumours that Bloodborne 2 is on the way), in the meantime, Max Mraz has decided to conjure up a Bloodborne-like game of their own.
Yarntown is a 2D sprite-based game that looks like the old-school 2D Legend of Zelda games, but is hard as hell. The game certainly wears its Bloodborne inspiration on its sleeve, with you exploring a cursed gothic town, hunting down monsters and facing off against huge bosses. You even spawn in the equivalent to the Hunter’s Dream, and use vials of blood to heal.
Until Sony finally decides to grant PC gamers their wish, this is a worthy alternative to the real thing. You can check out Yarntown on itch.io here.
So I made Bloodborne but it's super cute and it's also kinda Zelda. And it's out!:https://t.co/cjx5zz5lvC#screenshotsaturday #pixelart #indiegame #bloodborne#solarus pic.twitter.com/033IVYfHlp
