“American Horror Story” Will Resume Production in October; Ryan Murphy Shares New Image Clue

For the first time since the show began, there will not be a new season of “American Horror Story” this year, as filming wasn’t able to take place pre-Halloween due to the pandemic.

The good news? Creator Ryan Murphy announced on Instagram over the weekend that the tenth season of the FX series will finally begin filming, quite fittingly, in October.

“Thanks to everyone who is working hard to assure a safe start for the cast and crew. And yes this is a clue,” Murphy writes, sharing an image of pointy, monstrous teeth.

Murphy has recently been teasing a beach theme for the new season, suggesting that aquatic horrors may be on the way. Could this latest image be teasing mermaid terrors?

“American Horror Story” will return in 2021.

In addition to Sarah Paulson, who recently confirmed she’d be returning for season 10, the cast will also include fellow “AHS” regulars Evan PetersKathy BatesBillie Lourd, Finn WittrockLily RabeLeslie GrossmanAdina Porter and Angelica Ross.

The most surprising addition to the cast? None other than Macaulay Culkin!
