‘Antebellum’ Clip a Reflection on Perspective [Video]

“Sometimes what looks like anger, is really just fear…”

While it may not look like it, there’s a lot going on in this clip from Lionsgate’s Antebellum, which will release on specialty VOD platforms on September 18th.

Antebellum stars Janelle Monáe as successful author Veronica Henley, who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.

The following clip dives deep into the film’s commentary and appears to set the stage for the events to come.

The horror movie, written and directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz, had originally been set for theatrical release back in April before being bumped to August. It’s now no longer being released in US theaters at all, instead available for on-demand streaming next month and will be released theatrically in international markets.
