Last month, developer Behaviour Interactive announced plans for expanding the Cross-Play feature for their asymmetrical multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight. Well, that time is now, as cross-play and cross-friends features for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC have been implemented.
As the devs had previously mentioned, the cross-play and cross-friends features allow players across all consoles and PC (and eventually, Stadia) to play with each other in the game. Sadly, the Dead by Daylight Mobile game is not included in cross-play.
As for cross-progression, that is still in the works. As well, for those platforms that have content the other platforms do not, you can still play with friends. However, you will not be able to access that content if it isn’t available on your platform (sorry, legacy cosmetics holders).
Dead by Daylight is out now on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and coming to Google Stadia in September.
