‘Dead’ Trailer Promises a Comical Murder Mystery… with Ghosts! [Exclusive]

Completely under the radar comes Dead, a new horror-comedy that looks like a great way to kick off the Halloween season.

In virtual cinemas on September 25th and on VOD platforms October 6th, Bloody Disgusting has the exclusive trailer debut for the film that’s not only a horror-comedy, but also a murder mystery.

In Dead, “Marbles, a hapless stoner, can see ghosts. Tagg, a recently dead wannabe super-cop, needs to find a serial killer. Can a critical ghost cop and a directionless stoner get over their prejudices and work together to save lives… and deaths?”

Directed by Hayden J. Weal, the film stars Thomas Sainsbury (Guns Akimbo), Hayden J. Weal (Guns Akimbo), Tomairangi I’haia, Jennifer Ward-Lealand (Auckland Daze), Michael Hurst (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) and Cameron Rhodes (Housebound).

Dead will have its U.S. premiere at the Dancing Spider Film Festival on Aug. 22 and is also playing at the Horrible Imaginings Virtual Film Festival on Sept. 4.
