Loco Players’ dinosaur survival horror game Goner is now on Kickstarter, and is already off to a great start. The devs have also detailed the stretch goals for the story-focused game, which is eyeing an Early Access release Q3 2021.
First off, the game has already reached 24% of its preliminary funding. The campaign is asking for just €24,600, and has 29 days remaining. The main focus right now is the main game (obviously) with its Survival and Story Modes. Stretch goals include things such as the addition of more dinosaurs to run (and swim) from, mod support, voice acting, and console releases. One of the goals includes VR support, in case you’d like to experience firsthand being run down by dinosaurs.
As you’d expect, there are various tiers of support, with each having their own rewards ranging from digital copies of the game, to cool things like a physical artbook, soundtrack, and even clothes! As we’ve said before, since Capcom doesn’t seem interested in reviving Dino Crisis anytime soon, Goner and the also-in-development Deathground are certainly sounding like worthy alternatives.
