DC’s Black Adam gets his own solo movie next year with box office juggernaut Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson in the title role of a film being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (Orphan, The Shallows). At DC FanDome tonight, the first official teaser was unleashed.
This very first look at the movie doesn’t actually feature any live-action footage, but rather it serves as an animated introduction to the character and the world he inhabits.
“I’m free. And I give you my word. No one will ever stop me again,” Johnson’s Black Adam promises in the DC FanDome teaser trailer. You can check it out down below.
We also learned tonight that Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Cyclone and Atom Smasher will appear as the JSA in Black Adam, which will arrive in theaters on December 22, 2021.
