Bloody Disgusting’s The Boo Crew Podcast just uploaded a brand new conversation with Maika Monroe (It Follows) and Dane DeHaan (A Cure for Wellness), who together star in Quibi’s series “The Stranger.” While much of the conversation covered the Quibi series, the Boo Crew did manage to squeeze in a few “extra curricular” questions at the end of the chat.
Monroe touched upon the potential for an It Follows sequel, noting that she’d love to do it but she’s not convinced it’ll ever happen, while DeHaan revealed one of his dream roles.
If given the chance, DeHaan told The Boo Crew that he’d love to play the iconic vampire Nosferatu, previously played on screen by Max Schreck, Klaus Kinski and Willem Dafoe!
“That’d be cool, right? I think I could do it. It’d be fun,” said DeHaan.
There are currently two Nosferatu projects in the works, with Doug Jones playing the vampire in a film that may finally see release and Robert Eggers potentially remaking the classic.
