‘Relic’: Scream Factory Bringing One of This Year’s Best Horror Movies to Blu-ray in November

Anyone who hasn’t yet seen Natalie Erika James‘ bold and emotionally powerful horror movie Relic absolutely needs to do so immediately, and it can currently be rented through your favorite digital VOD outlet. For those who want to own a physical copy, however, we’ve learned that Scream Factory will be bringing the IFC Midnight film to Blu-ray late this year.

Relic will be released on Blu-ray & DVD on November 17.

Emily Mortimer, Robyn Nevin, and Bella Heathcote star in an unforgettable new spin on the haunted house movie from first-time writer/director Natalie Erika James.

“When elderly mother Edna inexplicably vanishes, her daughter Kay and granddaughter Sam rush to the family’s decaying country home, finding clues of her increasing dementia scattered around the house in her absence. After Edna returns just as mysteriously as she disappeared, Kay’s concern that her mother seems unwilling or unable to say where she’s been clashes with Sam’s unabashed enthusiasm to have her grandma back. As Edna’s behavior turns increasingly volatile, both begin to sense that an insidious presence might be taking control of her.”
