Just four short years after the release of David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, WB/DC is kinda-sorta hitting the reboot button with James Gunn‘s sequel The Suicide Squad, and we’ve got a fun cast/character reveal trailer fresh out of DC FanDome for ya today.
The full ensemble cast for next year’s movie includes Margot Robbie in her third film as Harley Quinn alongside Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, David Dastmalchian, Daniela Melchior, Steve Agee, Idris Elba, John Cena, Storm Reid, Flula Borg, Nathan Fillion, Peter Capaldi, Pete Davidson, Alice Braga, Sean Gunn, Michael Rooker, Taika Waititi, Joaquín Cosío, Mayling Ng, Juan Diego Botto, Tinashe Kajese, Julio Ruiz and Jennifer Holland.
The FanDome video reveals that Gunn’s film will feature a host of brand new characters from the DC Universe including Savant, Javelin, Polka Dot Man, Ratcatcher, Bloodsport, King Shark, Weasel and many, many more. And with Gunn’s particular style and sense of humor being infused into this one, we can expect a Suicide Squad far different from Ayer’s vision.
