‘The Strangers’ Director Bryan Bertino’s New Horror Film ‘The Dark and the Wicked’ Coming in November

Bryan Bertino‘s (The Strangers, The Monster) new horror film The Dark and the Wicked has just been acquired by RLJE Films and Shudder, Deadline reports today.

RLJE will bring the film to US theaters on November 6, It’ll come to Shudder in 2021.

“On a secluded farm in a nondescript rural town, a man is slowly dying. His family gathers to mourn, and soon a darkness grows, marked by waking nightmares and a growing sense that something evil is taking over the family.”

The film, written and directed by Bertino, stars Marin Ireland, Michael Abbott Jr., Xander Berkeley, Lynn Andrews, Julie Oliver-Touchstone, Tom Nowicki and Ella Ballentine.

Producers include Bryan Bertino, Adrienne Biddle, Sonny Mallhi and Kevin Matusow.
