‘The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners’ Offers Up “The Apocalypse Games” in Place of The Olympics [Trailer]

In the spirit of staying at home, Skybound and Skydance Interactive teamed up to create “The Apocalypse Games”, a virtual competition set in their new VR horror game The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. The event will allow VR players and influencers a chance to compete in virtual sporting events from the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Players who own The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners can participate in five sporting events, including archery, the 100m dash, target shooting, basketball and climbing. Obviously, seeing as this is all within The Walking Dead universe, there are “themes” for these events that involve zombies. You’ll be able to submit your results (and compare them to others) via the Virtual Athletics League.

The whole thing kicks off tomorrow, and can be viewed on Skybound’s YouTube page and participating influencer’s individual channels.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is available now on PSVR, Oculus Rift and Steam.
