John Shepherd has spent 30 years trying to contact extraterrestrials by broadcasting music millions of miles into space with DIY technology, and his story will be told in an upcoming Netflix documentary that’s fittingly titled, well, John Was Trying to Contact Aliens.
Netflix teases, “After giving up the search he makes a different connection here on Earth.”
Matthew Killip‘s documentary will be available on August 20, 2020.
