The premise behind the Solstice Studios thriller Unhinged is quite simple: Russell Crowe has extreme road rage and turns his full attention to a woman and her child.
In these tense first clips, Crowe harasses a young woman (Caren Pistorius) who apparently did something to get on his bad side. He won’t let it go and becomes increasingly threatening. In the second clip, he’s already worked his way to stalking this poor woman. It’s got a bit of a Falling Down vibe.
As of this writing, the most recent release date is August 21st, only in theaters. Solstice previously noted, “We know that theaters won’t be open in every city or county when we launch. However, we anticipate that the vast majority of movie theaters will be open and ready to meet what nationwide polls consistently show is substantial pent-up audience demand to see new movies in theaters.”
The film is directed by Derrick Borte (American Dreamer), written by Carl Ellsworth (Disturbia, Red Eye) and produced by Lisa Ellzey (Warrior, Kingdom of Heaven).
