‘An American Werewolf in London’ Getting First-Ever 4K Ultra HD Release With Deluxe New German Set

A reminder that all 4K Ultra HD discs are inherently Region Free.

German company Turbine announced today that John Landis’ classic werewolf film An American Werewolf in London is making its worldwide 4K Ultra HD debut on November 6!

The company details, “The film shines for the first time worldwide on 4K-UHD with HDR, incl. a remastered Blu-ray. The sound has been restored and comes out of the boxes in 2.0 or 5.1 (German & English).” Only 2,626 sets, they also note, will be produced.

Bonus Features include:

  • On the bonus Blu-ray there are over 6 hours of audiovisual extras, among other things, the documentary ′′The Legacy of the Beast′′ (77 min) and ′′Fear the Moon′′ (98 min)
  • The 100-page book ′”Man or Monster” on film history
  • Slaughtered Lamb beer lid, artcards, posters and stickers.
  • Plus the original soundtrack worldwide with score and songs on audio CD for the first time

Keep in mind that the Blu-ray discs included with the set will not be Region Free.

You can pre-order the set from Turbine’s shop, and they do ship to the United States.
