Bizarre Detective Game ‘Paradise Killer’ Launches Today For Steam, Nintendo Switch

An island outside of reality? A rogue human civilization hoping to resurrect dead alien gods? A whodunit mystery? That’s only part of the weirdness in store for players with Kaizen Game Works’ Paradise Killer, which arrives on Steam and the Nintendo Switch today.

The game takes place on an island known as Paradise, which regenerates every few millennia. Worshipers of the alien gods release psychic energy into the universe that is meant to feed and eventually resurrect their fallen deities. This psychic force also has the unfortunate side effect of attracting demons, who eventually corrupt each island — until a new alternate reality is birthed by the Council. Problem is, the Council has been murdered, and Paradise hangs in the balance.

This is where you come in. Summoned from exile, “investigation freak” Lady Love Dies must now find the culprit from several suspects. You must gather evidence and build a case against your suspect. Along the way, you must also solve hieroglyph puzzles on ancient nightmare computers to discover new areas of the island, find concealed evidence and “reveal terrifying secrets”.

You can find Paradise Killer on Steam, or the Nintendo eShop.
