You may remember last year when Gearbox and 2K Games released a bridging DLC for Borderlands 2 ahead of Borderlands 3‘s release? Well, “Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary” was originally free for the first month on Steam when it was released back in June 2019, and it’s now free again on the Epic Games Store for a month!
Keep in mind that for those who managed to snag the Borderlands Handsome Collection when it was available for free back in May, this was the only DLC that wasn’t included. You’ve got until October 2 to add it to your account, so don’t forget!
The story for this DLC (in case you haven’t snagged it) has Sanctuary under siege, the Vault Map being stolen, and a toxic gas poisoning Pandora. You have to step back into the boots of legendary Vault Hunters Maya, Salvador, Axton, Zer0, Gaige or Krieg to battle new bosses, explore new areas, and collect new loot, including an entirely new tier beyond Legendary. Join up with Lilith and the Crimson Raiders to take on a deranged villain hell-bent on claiming the Vault Map for himself. Veteran players can pursue the new level cap, while newcomers can automatically boost to level 30 and dive straight into the action.
