Clive Barker Teases Upcoming Projects Including New Novel ‘Deep Hill’ and New Short Stories

After a long period of social media silence, horror master Clive Barker has returned on the road to next month’s premiere of Hulu’s Books of Blood, and he took to Twitter last night to tease some of the upcoming projects he’s working on. For starters, a new novel is on the way!

Barker tweeted, “It’s been a long silence, I know, but I am returning to the fold with a new novel, DEEP HILL, a large collection of out-of-print short stories, NEW short stories and a novella called MERCY AND THE JACKAL, the collection to be called FEAR ETERNAL.”

He continued, “I’m also ready to release a large volume of some 250 poems, edited by Paulo Lorca and published by @philandsarah. Much more news to share soon.”

Bloody Disgusting contributor Nat Brehmer, who knows a thing or two about Barker’s work, broke down all these teases in a Twitter thread, so be sure to follow him to learn more.

With Candyman and two different Hellraiser projects currently in the works – a new movie and a television series – it would seem that we’re in the midst of a Clive Barker renaissance!
