Previewed at Toy Fair earlier this year, NECA had been set to release 8″ Jaws figures of both Martin Brody and Quint, with a massive figure of the film’s killer shark also on the way.
Alas, we’ve learned today that the Brody figure has been cancelled.
NECA tweeted out, “Due to a licensing conflict, we are no longer producing the Chief Martin Brody Clothed Figure. All orders for item #03343 will be canceled on our end.”
The good news? The figure of Quint is still in production, currently scheduled for a January 2021 release. NECA also teases that more Jaws products are on the way.
