‘Saw’ Filmmaker Darren Bousman Invites You to “One Day Die” (at Home) This October!

It looks as if Saw mainstay Darren Lynn Bousman has something up his sleeve for this October.

Details are incredibly sparse, but if you follow the filmmaker on Instagram, a series of cryptic interconnected posts lead you to a strange website for One Day Die, which asks about your belief in the paranormal.

After answering a series of questions (it forces you to be fully committed) and providing your email, you are allowed into a website that promises something is coming this October, but as to what that is exactly will remain a mystery for now.

The website teases with images of magic, horror, and, ultimately, the proposition of receiving a mysterious box at your home with the warning:

“Do Not Open Until Instructed, We’re Trusting You.”

In the past, Bousman has created interactive immersive shows that test the limits of the audience, pushing buttons and nudging them to explore their dark side. This time around, he has partnered with Joshua Ryan Dietz, a frequent collaborator of Bousman’s, as well as legendary creators and magicians Daniel Garcia and Blake Vogt for a special collaboration melding together the worlds of magic and immersive.

Register here and remember, don’t upon the box until instructed!
