‘Scare Me’ Trailer: Storytime from a Cabin in the Woods! [Video]

Easily one of my favorite films of the year is Josh Ruben‘s masterful directorial debut, Scare Me, which co-stars Ruben with the always excellent Aya Cash (“The Boys”, “You’re the Worst”).

Scare Me substitutes a campfire with a cabin in the woods where two strangers (Ruben and Cash) tell scary stories during a power outage.

Shudder is kicking off the Halloween season with an October 1st release for Scare Me, which now has a brand new trailer that settles in for scary storytime.

Our very own Meagan Navarro attended the film’s world premiere, writing in her review that “Scare Me offers up imaginative and cozy horror-comedy.”

She adds: “As a battle of wits between two endlessly entertaining characters, over the nature of horror movies and scary stories no less, Scare Me feels like a spooky, cozy warm blanket worth cuddling up to by the fire.”

Scare Me is the perfect Halloweentime horror story to kick off your month-long celebration.
