‘Violation’ Clip: Fun Ends When a Sister Prepares to Drop a Bomb of a Confession [Video]

Betrayal between sisters is teased in this tense clip from the Canadian horror Violation, in which a traumatic experience drives a woman towards a vengeful extremity.

Set to have its World Premiere at this month’s Toronto International Film Festival, The Playlist shares this piece of footage from the Madeleine Sims-Fewer and Dusty Mancinelli-directed thriller that also features Sims-Fewer in the standout starring role.

In Violation, “With her marriage about to implode, Miriam returns to her hometown to seek solace in the comfort of her younger sister and brother-in-law. But one evening a tiny slip in judgement leads to a catastrophic betrayal, leaving Miriam shocked, reeling, and furious. Believing her sister to be in danger, Miriam decides she must protect her at all costs, but the price of revenge is high and she is not prepared for the toll it takes as she begins to emotionally and psychologically unravel.”

In the following clip, sisters share smiles as they swim in a lake until Madeleine Sims-Fewer sets the table for a shocking confession, turning things excruciatingly tense…
