3-Minute Short ‘Halloween is Cancelled’ Revisits Original Filming Locations for Fun ‘Halloween’ Spoof

The night we stayed home.

Filmmaker Andrew Kasch, the co-director of the documentary Never Sleep Again, provides a little Halloween treat this week with Halloween is Cancelled, a 3-minute spoof that sees Michael Myers take to the empty streets of Haddonfield during Halloween 2020. With the holiday cancelled and not a trick or treater in sight, Michael is left to wander. Sad and alone.

That is until an insufferable “Karen” (played by Tiffany Shepis) comes after Michael for wearing a mask, spouting off insane Facebook conspiracy theories about the pandemic.

And Michael, well, he’s having none of that…

Wear a mask. And watch Halloween is Cancelled below. The short was notably filmed in the very same locations as John Carpenter’s original classic, which makes it even better!
