Remember that Stranger Things game that Telltale Games was working on before you-know-what happened? Well, it turns out that Antimo & Welles, the composers for the now-cancelled game (who had also worked on Telltale’s The Walking Dead series and The Wolf Among Us), still kept going with their work. In fact, they’re releasing it.
According to the post on YouTube with the entire score, the duo had been sitting on their score “for a while”, wondering what to do. And after two years, they’ve decide to just share it with the world. They sadly weren’t paid for their work, but if you’d like, you can toss them a few bucks over on their Patreon, where you can also download the individual tracks.
They do warn that it’s “unfinished” audio, with not all of it being Stranger Things-like. “We acquired a lot of gear we’d never used before – much of this is us just working it out together. It’s all mostly as it was when we wrote it, though I’ve spent considerable time the past month going through it all, picking the best bits and cleaning them up.”
