Dataminers Again Find References to Additional Characters For ‘Mortal Kombat 11’, Including Rambo?

Those dataminers are at it again with Mortal Kombat 11. And as with all of these speculations, not only do you have to take them with a helping of salt, but oh man, if these are true, then one has to wonder what magic Warner Bros is using.

Anyway, according to Twitter user (and MK11 modder) @thethiny, while browsing around the files of the latest update to Mortal Kombat: Aftermath, they came across what looked to be references to three new characters: Rain, Mileena, and Rambo. Yes, that Rambo. The files appear to reference “GOTY2” as the next Kombat Pack (which would contain the three fighters), while “GOTY” was the Aftermath expansion.

Again, none of this has been confirmed by NetherRealm Studios or Warner Bros. However, it’s just another tidbit that feeds into the various hints that have been dropped over the past weeks, including references to the original 1995 film cast lending their services to the game, not to mention that rumour that doesn’t seem to go away involving Bruce Campbell’s Ash.

For the moment, Mortal Kombat: Aftermath is the latest DLC, which is available on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
