‘Event Horizon’ Opens a Rift Straight to Hell in 4K UHD!

Do you see?!

Streaming services have opened a rift in the space-time continuum and taken Event Horizon straight to hell in 4K UHD!

In looking through the various Halloween sales I stumbled across Paul W.S. Anderson‘s terrifying 1997 sci-fi splatterfest immediately available for rental or purchase in ultra-high-definition!

From what I was able to see, Event Horizon is available (and on sale!) over at Vudu, as well as FandangoNow, Apple TV, and Amazon Prime.

For those seeking a physical copy, Scream Factory had dated their Blu-ray release for this past September, but it’s been delayed until January 5, 2021. When initially announced, the distributor was seeking additional footage, including the rare deleted scenes.

Event Horizon stars In the Mouth of Madness and Jurassic Park‘s Sam Neill with Laurence Fishburne (Dream Warriors, Predators).

“Its name: Event Horizon. The high-tech, pioneering research spacecraft mysteriously vanished without a trace on its maiden voyage seven years ago. But a weak, persistent signal from the long-missing craft prompts a rescue team, headed by the intrepid Captain Miller (Fishburne), to wing its way through the galaxy on a bold rescue mission. Accompanying Miller is his elite crew and the lost ship’s designer (Neill). What they uncover is unimaginable interstellar horror.”
