So Devolver Digital and Phobia Game Studio’s Carrion is pretty awesome. The soundtrack by Cris Velasco is likewise pretty awesome. What’s even better for you audiophiles out there? A two-LP set, courtesy of Materia Collective.
The set contains the complete soundtrack, and is available in two flavours: you have the Standard Edition with red-and-black smoke vinyl, or you have the “blood-filled” Limited Edition!
Now as cool as this is, there are some caveats. Both sets are being made to order, and there is a two-week pre-order window. The window closes on November 20, 2020 at 11:59pm Pacific time, or when all units are sold out, whichever occurs first.
The Standard Edition is limited to 1000 units at $39.99, while the Limited Edition is at 50 units priced at $666. If you try to sneak in multiple Limited-Edition orders, your orders will be canceled and refunded, and the buyer “sacrificed to a red, amorphous, tentacled monster.” Both editions are expected to ship in 2021.
Carrion is out now on Steam (which is currently enjoying a 25% discount thanks to the Steam Halloween Sale), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
