Surrealist Puzzle-Platformer ‘DARQ’ Headed to Current And Next-Gen Consoles

Finnish developer Dreamloop has scored a deal with Bloober Team’s publishing arm Feardemic to bring Unfold Games’ DARQ to current and next-gen consoles. The psychological side-scroller was released on Steam last August.

While no release dates have been announced, DARQ: Complete Edition will include all of the DLC released for the game, and will release for Playstation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and the Nintendo Switch.

“There’s a pretty amazing amount of detail put into the environments of the game – it makes the allure of the dark and surreal even stronger for us. We have quite a few horror game enthusiasts in the company, myself included, so it has been very exciting to get to work with these kinds of projects,” said Teemu Norvasto, Dreamloop’s Art Director. “As horror game enthusiasts ourselves, we have a great deal of respect for what Unfold Games has done with DARQ and want to bring that eerie magic faithfully to consoles. We’re working closely with Unfold Games to ensure we do so.”

At the moment, DARQ is enjoying a 60% discount until October 17th. So if you haven’t checked it out by now, October is a no-brainer.
