Airing this Halloween season, “The Simpsons” are back for another round of animated terror in “Treehouse of Horror XXXI”.
This time around, “Treehouse of Horror” parodies Toy Story in which Bart treats his toys badly and gets his comeuppance. What makes this segment extra cool is that it’s animated like a Pixar film.
The episode, which offers a frightening look at the 2020 election, also spoofs Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse by unleashing several Homers from other dimensions (including Disney Princess Homer), and even Netflix’s “Russian Doll” in which Lisa has a birthday she just can’t get over.
The Halloween-themed “Treehouse of Horror XXXI” episode airs Sunday, Oct. 18 (8:00-8:31 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
