‘Unhinged’ Art Puts Russell Crowe in ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’ and ‘Friday the 13th’ Posters

Those who have seen the action thriller Unhinged know that it’s secretly an ultra-violent slasher film with Russell Crowe stalking a woman and her child through the streets of New Orleans.

With the film hacking its way to home on demand this week, Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive look at two parody posters, which put Crowe’s character the “Man” into art for both A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th. It makes me think that Unhinged deserves its own slasher art.

Unhinged was a pretty huge success during its theatrical run, generating $20.4MM here in the States and another $21MM Internationally.

The film remains in theaters but will be making its way to Blu-ray, Digital and DVD on November 17th.

In Unhinged, “Rachel (Caren Pistorius) is running late to work when she has an altercation at a traffic light with a stranger (Crowe) whose life has left him feeling powerless and invisible. Soon, Rachel finds herself, and everyone she loves, the target of a man who decides to make one last mark upon the world by teaching her a series of deadly lessons. What follows is a dangerous game of cat and mouse that proves you never know just how close you are to someone who is about to become unhinged.”
