‘Warhammer: Chaosbane’ Headed to Xbox Series And PS5 With New ‘Slayer Edition’

Fans of the Diablo-esque Warhammer: Chaosbane will be able to enjoy the game on the next generation of consoles, as publisher Nacon and developer Eko Software have announced that the title, Warhammer: Chaosbane Slayer Edition, will launch for Xbox Series and PC on November 10 worldwide, followed by the PlayStation 5 on November 12 in North America, Australia, and New Zealand, and November 19 in the rest of the world.

The Slayer Edition will include all previously-released downloadable content packs and every update to the game, and will run in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. It will also include a new character in Jurgen Haider the Witch Hunter, which will be available as paid downloadable content for the current-generation version of Warhammer: Chaosbane.

Current=gen players aren’t going to be left in the cold, however. Nacon also announced a free patch, which adds improvements for new players and “fans of the first hour of the game.” Act 1 and Act 2 hub areas have been expanded, and the area around the camp of Act 2 has been enhanced with new enemies. The patch also adds a new area, the cemetery, which adds a new environment and larger bestiary, with new enemies. This patch is already included in the Slayer Edition.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
