Alien Invaders Kidnap Superheroes in Robert Rodriguez’s Netflix Film ‘We Can Be Heroes’ [Images]

Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Till Dawn, Sin City, Planet Terror, Machete) returns to the kid-friendly vibes of the Spy Kids movies with Netflix‘s We Can Be Heroes, previewed with a batch of first-look images today. The movie launches globally on Netflix on January 1, 2021.

In the film, written and directed by Rodriguez…

“When alien invaders kidnap Earth’s superheroes, their children must team up and learn to work together if they want to save their parents and the world.”

The cast includes YaYa Gosselin, Pedro Pascal, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Christian Slater, Boyd Holbrook, Christopher McDonald and Adriana Barraza, along with Vivien Blair, Isaiah Russell-Bailey, Akira Akbar, Lyon Daniels, Nathan Blair, Lotus Blossom, Hala Finley, Andy Walken, Dylan Henry Lau, Andrew Diaz, Taylor Dooley, Sung Kang, Haley Reinhart, J. Quinton Johnson, Brittany Perry-Russell, Brently Heilbron and JJ Dashnaw.
