‘DARQ: Complete Edition’ Heads Home on December 4

Unfold Games, Feardemic and Dreamloop have nailed down the release date of DARQ: Complete Edition, which will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and GOG on December 4. The PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Switch versions of the surrealist title are still scheduled for release in early 2021.

And, as is the norm for the moment, those who already own DARQ for PC will be automatically upgraded to DARQ: Complete Edition, and users who purchase the PlayStation 4 or Xbox Series versions will receive a free upgrade to the native PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series version upon its release.

In addition to the base game, DARQ: Complete Edition includes two downloadable content packs: “The Tower,” which is a mysterious structure filled with new puzzles and secrets, as well as “The Crypt,” which introduces the most challenging puzzles in the game, never-before-seen mechanics, new achievements, and new twists to the story.

DARQ is a psychological horror that tells the story of Lloyd, a boy who finds himself in the middle of a lucid nightmare, unable to wake up. While exploring the darkest corners of his subconscious, Lloyd learns how to survive the nightmare by bending the laws of physics and manipulating the fluid fabric of the dream world.
