During their livestream event yesterday, Gearbox and Counterplay Games released the launch trailer for their upcoming melee action RPG PlayStation 5 launch title, Godfall. In addition, the teams announced that Godfall will only be a console exclusive for the PS5 for six months, giving hope to Xbox Series X users that the title will be making its way to Microsoft’s console.
In Godfall, Aperion is on the edge of ruin. You are the last of the Valorian knights, god-like warriors able to equip Valorplates, legendary armor sets that transform wielders into unstoppable masters of melee combat. Tear through foes as you climb through the elemental realms and challenge the mad god, Macros, who awaits you at the top.
Godfall will also be hitting PC on November 12 worldwide via the Epic Games Store, and for PlayStation 5 on November 12 in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea, and November 19 in the rest of the world.
