It’s taken a while, but when you have an exclusivity deal, that’s what you have to live with. Originally released on the PlayStation 4 this past March, Koei-Tecmo’s Nioh 2 will be headed to Steam and the PS4 on February 5, 2021 in a Complete Edition, which includes the base game and its three DLC: The Tengu’s Disciple, Darkness in the Capital, and The First Samurai (which is set to arrive on December 17th).
In addition, the Steam version will include graphical goodies such as 4K Ultra-HD support, Ultra wide-screen compatibility, HDR monitor support and 120fps on compatible systems. Unique to this version is the ‘Valve Helmet’, which you can get when you purchase the game.
Koei Tecmo have also announced the Nioh Collection for the PlayStation 5, which includes both Nioh Remastered – The Complete Edition and Nioh 2 Remastered – The Complete Edition. The Nioh Collection will also be due out on February 5, 2021.
Nioh 2‘s latest DLC, “Darkness in The Capital”, was released on the PS4 on October 15th.
