One of the hottest titles of the forthcoming American Film Market is the mystery thriller The Salamander Lives Twice, which is to be helmed by ABCs of Death and Housebound producer Ant Timpson, who made his directorial debut on last year’s phenomenal Come to Daddy.
Heading the cast are The Conjuring‘s Vera Farmiga and Predators star Adrien Brody, says Screendaily, who writes that production is scheduled for spring 2021 with XYZ Films handling worldwide sales.
Toby Harvard (Come to Daddy) wrote the screenplay from a story by Timpson and Harvard, “About an injured man (Brody) with an impenetrable briefcase and no memory who washes up on a remote island. There, he is found by a woman and her daughter (Farmiga), the last remaining members of a once prosperous dynasty.”
Timpson also produced Turbo Kid and The Greasy Strangler.
