This December, The Old Vic Theatre in London is putting together a special staging of the classic holiday ghost story A Christmas Carol, which will be streamed around the world.
Notably for horror fans, Andrew Lincoln (“The Walking Dead”) will be playing Scrooge!
The Old Vic details, “For the first time in the #OVInCamera series, #OVChristmasCarol will be a full-scale show with live musicians, theatrical lighting, set, costumes, and a cast of 18 performers. In total, 80 freelance creatives, actors and musicians will be employed to create this year’s production.”
Jack Thorne‘s adaptation of the Dickens tale will stream from December 12-24.
Tickets go on sale beginning on Monday, November 9th, and the theater notes that since the performances are live streamed, “you can watch from anywhere in the world.”
