[Exclusive] Neil Marshall’s New Horror Movie ‘The Reckoning’ Releasing in February; Clip, Images and Poster!

Fear spreads like the plague.

RLJE and Shudder recently acquired Neil Marshall’s (Dog Soldiers, The Descent, Doomsday, Hellboy) latest genre offering, The Reckoning, a period horror film set against the backdrop of the Great Plague that takes place during the witch hunts in 17th century England. And BD has exclusively learned today that a theatrical and On Demand release has been set.

The Reckoning will come to theaters, On Demand and Digital on February 5, 2021.

We also got our hands on a gallery of images from the film, along with poster art. And you’ll find an exclusive clip down below as well, wherein a horned demon rises from the depths…

In the film, “After losing her husband during the Great Plague, Grace Haverstock (Charlotte Kirk) is unjustly accused of being a witch and placed in the custody of England’s most ruthless witch-hunter, Judge Moorcroft (Sean Pertwee). Forced to endure physical and emotional torture while steadfastly maintaining her innocence, Grace must face her own inner demons as the Devil himself starts to work his way into her mind.”

Joe Anderson and Steven Waddington also star. Marshall wrote the script with Charlotte Kirk and Edward Evers-Swindell, from a story by Antony Jones and Evers-Swindell.
