GOG Offers ‘Metro: Last Light Redux’ For Free For 48 Hours

If you missed out on snagging Deep Silver’s sci-fi horror shooter Metro: 2033 Redux last week on the Epic Games Store, GOG.com has something of a consolation prize for the next 48 hours: the sequel to Metro: 2033, Metro: Last Light Redux!

As with any of GOG’s giveaways (or any service, for that matter), you simply have to sign up for the service, head over to the Store page for Metro: Last Light Redux, click the button, and it’s yours. Keep in mind that this is open for the next 48 hours, so be quick.

And, much like Steam, GOG is currently holding their annual Winter Sale, which has a bunch of classic and new genre games for a variety of discounts. The sale is on until January 4th.

Metro: Last Light puts you in the boots of Artyom once again. Artyom must work to stop a brewing civil war as the the station-cities of the Metro are locked in a struggle for the ultimate power: a doomsday device from the military vaults of D6.

Released in 2013, Metro: Last Light received a Redux remaster in 2014, which is also available (though not for free) on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch.
