Netflix’s Korean Horror Series “Sweet Home” Unleashes an Insane-Looking Monster Pandemic [Trailer]

“I decided it was time to die… and the world agreed with me.”

It’s pretty incredible how much international horror Netflix brings to the table every year, much of it (unfortunately) dropped onto the streaming service with little fanfare. But one upcoming horror series that should most definitely be on your radar, if the official trailer is any indication, is the Korean “Sweet Home,” an adaptation of the same-titled Webtoon.

The first season premieres on Netflix on December 18th, 2020, and the official trailer is absolutely loaded with insane-looking imagery. Seriously, you *need* to watch this.

In “Sweet Home,” “As humans turn into savage monsters and wreak terror, one troubled teen and his apartment neighbors fight to survive — and to hold on to their humanity.”

The series comes from director Lee Eung-Bok (Descendants of the Sun).

Kim Kan-bi & Hwang Young-chan created the original Webtoon.
