Why stop at one world… when we can visit all of them?
The upcoming Marvel series “What If…?” for Disney+ is a project we likely won’t be covering much here on Bloody Disgusting, but one notable tidbit about the series is that the concept is opening the door for the arrival of the Marvel Zombies. Glimpsed in a new first look trailer from Disney this week, the animated series will at least feature Zombie Captain America!
Under the “What If…?” umbrella, Marvel is able to get a little crazy with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, exploring strange scenarios we’d normally only see in the comic books.
There is indeed a “Marvel Zombies” universe in the world of comics, and it should be fun to see some of that horror-heavy storytelling play out on screen in Disney+’s “What If…?”
