This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez collab From Dusk Till Dawn, a true mashup of styles from two of the coolest filmmakers out there. The 1996 vampire film notably put the big screen spotlight on a young George Clooney, who starred alongside Tarantino, Harvey Keitel, Salma Hayek and of course, Tom Savini.
From Dusk Till Dawn spawned two sequels and a television series that ran for three seasons, and according to Rodriguez himself, a brand new re-release is soon on the way!
Speaking with Forbes, From Dusk Till Dawn‘s director teased the film is coming to 4K.
“I just finished a color correction for a 4K version. It looks gorgeous. It was cool to see. I can’t wait for that to come out to celebrate the anniversary,” Rodriguez just told the site.
We can only assume Rodriguez is referring to the upcoming release of a 4K Ultra HD disc, which would likely come out sometime this year. Stay tuned for more as we learn it!
