Back in August, due to a messy legal battle (that’s still ongoing), Frogwares’ Lovecraftian The Sinking City was pulled from digital storefronts across Xbox, PlayStation and PC. Well today, Nacon (formerly known as Big Ben Interactive) announced that the game has returned to the Microsoft Store, as well as Steam.
The PlayStation Store version will also be available soon. As of the time of the press release, the Steam release is already available. No word on if the game will be returning to the Epic Game Store, where the game was originally an exclusive to the service.
The return to digital stores comes after a judge presiding over the case between Nacon and Frogwares issued a temporary order, saying that Frogwares broke their contract with Nacon unlawfully, and needs to continue to abide by it. In turn, Nacon is able to have The Sinking City sold again digitally.
The Sinking City is also available on the Nintendo Switch, where it was self-published by Frogwares.
